JL Harry

Born and raised in country Victoria (Australia) JL Harry is heavily influenced by her upbringing. She continues to live a country lifestyle with her husband and three young boys, along with a menagerie of animals.

After studying Fine Art at University, JL Harry went into secondary school teaching. She continues to teach part time, also pursuing her passion for painting, printmaking and photography. 

Australian flora and fauna are a constant inspiration with her strong ties to the Australian landscape and the outdoors in general. Coming from an oil painting background, using many layers to build up the surface quality is an important technique to JL Harry's paintings.
